Today I want to talk to you about a rather awesome MOOC I Mentor on. If you don’t already know I’m a Mentor on a FutureLearn course called Moons, I’ve volunteered on this since the beginning of 2015.
It is such a brilliant course (and I’m not just saying that because I’m a Mentor) it’s one of the best courses I’ve ever done on FutureLearn, which is what pushed me to apply to be a volunteer on there in the first place.
It teaches you so much about so many of the different moons in the solar system, from Jupiter’s Europa to our own moon The Moon, and many, many more. It’ll probably surprise you just how many there are! It gives you an insight into the geology of moons, missions in space and much more.
A thoroughly interesting 8 week course for anyone whose ever been interested in the solar system, so if you feel this is something you might like to learn more about why not go and find out more?
And did I mention it’s free? (There are optional paid extras, for example course tests) but the main bulk of the learning is free.
The next run of the course starts on Monday 23rd. It would be great to see some of you there!
