For me one of the best things about Christmas is the decorations, and today’s post is going to be all about Christmas trees and decorations that are in my room and around the house.
My parents got a new tree this year so I got my tree back (yay!) I haven’t really gone with any particular theme here, it’s ended up being a bit of everything, old and new. Here are also the cards I got from Hello Bexa and The Essence Of Red in the Christmas card swap. This is probably the most Christmassy corner of my room (except for perhaps the area where my cubes are – that’s ended up being pretty festive too).
This lovely flamingo decoration is from House of Fraser, I got it a few weeks ago.
I’d been looking for a Santa decoration like this for a while but I’m really into grey this year and thought this one would look great in my room, it is from Otter Nurseries.
This wall art is one of the most recent additions to my room, it is also from Otter Nurseries. I’ve seen quite a few of these around recently but it wasn’t until I saw this one yesterday I was like that’s it, that’s the one I want. It reminds me of the cottage in the film The Holiday which I love.
I added the red star garland yesterday as well (again, from Otter Nurseries) – that really was like walking into a Christmas wonderland going there. I loved how the Pumpkin Halloween garland looked on here over Halloween so had to get this one when I saw it. I also found some apples and oranges (not real ones!) that had been stored away for a while here so I thought I’d add an apple and a couple of oranges on the top of my cubes as well as the reindeer/snowman decorations that I’ve had for a few years.
The pug ornament itself is a recent addition, I got it from Wyevale Garden Centre (Jack’s Patch) last week, it’s currently sat in one of my cubes and I thought I’d make it look a bit festive by adding a piece of tinsel to it. How cute is this though.
I’ve had this tinsel reindeer for a while now.
I bought this at the same time as the other Santa decoration above.
A snowman decoration, I haven’t found anywhere to hang it up yet so it’s currently sat on my chair – again, another one bought at the same time as the Santa decorations.
I really like the arty looking diagonal lines in the background of this photo.
The last photo in this post is of the other Christmas tree, there’s a bit of everything on this one as well. My mum was in charge of decorating this and I love how it’s turned out.
