It’s been an entire month since I was first tagged in this but finally, here’s my post for the Flawesome Award! Thank you so much for nominating me both Pippa (Phigella) and Lee (Bella Inspired Grace).
“It’s time to celebrate the flaws that make you awesome.
How many times do we see an award that celebrates all things bright and shiny and sunny in a person? How often do we forget that our weaknesses can be a strength? Our flaws make us human, our flaws tell us more about who we are, and in turn we turn those flaws into awesome strengths. In short, our flaws make us #flawesome.
After nearly a decade of Tyra Banks telling me to celebrate my flaws, I decided to create an award that celebrates our own flaws.”

1. I’ve not always been the loudest, but that does make me a good listener. I’ll speak when needed, I’ll speak anyway but I’ll also be the one paying attention to my surroundings. I can remember this one time at school when no one was listening and we were changing classrooms, guess who’d written the instructions down off of the white board? Who everyone else had to then copy off of? Yep. I’ll always get stuck in though, put me in front of a room full of people and ask me to talk? Well okay then – not phased! I did want to go into acting at one point though so…
2. I can be a bit of a perfectionist, trying to get things right like ALL of the time which obviously isn’t a bad thing but then I can judge myself pretty harshly if I don’t, it does mean I’m a conscientious sort of person though.
3. I’m someone who won’t tidy for days then I’ll have one big tidy up, though in saying that things are never in that much of a mess!
I love how this award brings a positive take on things.
