A murder mystery set in a historical time; this book is set in Restoration London in 1664, Major Thankful Russel has a new bride, Thomazine but rumours start circulating that he’s committed murder, more than once as someone is out to try and destroy his reputation around London. Who is it behind the rumours and can he and his new wife salvage his reputation?

What’s On My Cubes

I did do a post similar to this on an old blog of mine but I always like seeing these sorts of posts on other blogs (I think they’re great for book/DVD buying inspo!) so I’ve been wanting to do an updated version for this blog, there’s definitely been quite a lot of changes on there since the last post I did – I’m really running out of space for new books and DVDs on there now.

A Book Haul

I recently went on another book buying spree (when there’s such good offers on at The Works, how can you not!) I’d also gained a small amount of money on their loyalty card which I wanted to use up. I still have books on my to read list from what I bought last year that I haven’t yet read but as any reader knows, that’s never enough of an excuse not to buy more.
