I recently bought a few new artificial plants from Sainsbury’s to add to my room, so I thought I’d put a blog post together and share with you all the artificial plants and flowers that I’ve got in my room now.
Most of the decorations in my room are the same ones as last year but some of them have been put in different places, one notable difference as well is the lack of tinsel on my Christmas tree (I know! I did do a post similar to this on an old blog of mine but I always like seeing these sorts of posts on other blogs (I think they’re great for book/DVD buying inspo!) so I’ve been wanting to do an updated version for this blog, there’s definitely been quite a lot of changes on there since the last post I did – I’m really running out of space for new books and DVDs on there now.
I bought a few things when I went to Primark in the week so I thought I may as well do another haul. The last Primark haul I did was actually a video on my YouTube channel, you can find that video here if you’d like to watch it – A Primark Haul.
It’s been a while since I’ve walked around Plymouth, in recent times (I mean the past 10 years or so) I’ve gone shopping there but haven’t really been anywhere else around there, it’s a brilliant city to explore though.
I’d been looking to get some new art for my walls since autumn last year when I moved my room around and my purple wall suddenly looked very bland and empty, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted but I’ve loved Jemma’s (Dorkface) art for a while now and I finally put an order in to her Etsy shop a few weeks ago.
These are some of the things I’ve bought over the past few weeks, as it turns out the things I’ve included in this haul are either homeware or stationery related so if you like homeware and stationery, then you’ve come to the right post.
I first discovered Ellis’s store Pastel Elixir last week. It’s very unusual (like practically unheard of) for me to find a store and order something on the same day, but you know when you find a store and you just love the style of the items in it – well that was me with these.
We had to go out towards Wellington yesterday to get our car serviced and I’ve been wanting to go back to Homesense for a while so thought why not combine the two, especially since we don’t have a Homesense near here and our nearest one is in Taunton. It was actually a pretty awesome day yesterday, while we were without a car for a couple of hours we went walking instead and went to another garden centre (as you do!) we often visit there when we’re in the area but I’ve never walked there from the garage before.
Firstly I just want to say hello and welcome to my new blog! After taking some time out from blogging over the past year or so, I’m back and I’ve got a bunch of ideas for posts that I’m going to start sharing on here over the next few weeks.
This first post is going to be all about – rose gold and pink! I was originally going to do a July favourites post but then I noticed a good proportion of what was on my list was basically rose gold or pink so I thought let’s just do a post focusing on that. I’ve really got into the whole rose gold/copper trend recently and I love the colour pink too, so here are some of my favourite accessories right now (a lipstick and a nail polish has ended up as part of the post too).
